We would love you to share our special day

We’re getting married at three o’clock on the last Saturday of September, in The Willows room in Bournemouth, in front of the people we love most.
Afterwards we’ll all make our way inland to our house in Verwood, where there will be food, far too much of it, drinks, and no particular plan beyond staying up late together. Everything you need to know is on these pages — and if it isn’t, just ask.
What to wear
Wear whatever makes you feel wonderful. We’re thinking smart — jackets, dresses, the shoes you save for good — but nothing so formal that you can’t sit down properly by the end of the night.
The ceremony room is warm. Our garden in the evening will not be, so do bring a layer for later on.
On gifts
Honestly, you being in the room is the whole thing. Several of you are travelling a long way to spend the day with us, and that is gift enough by some distance.
If you’d still like to mark the occasion, we’re putting a little aside towards a honeymoon, and a contribution towards that would mean a great deal. There’ll be a card at the house — or simply ask either of us.
